Step 1: Check Your Aadhaar Card for Your Existing Mobile Number

Before updating your Aadhaar mobile number, it is essential to check if you have already provided a mobile number. You can do this by obtaining a copy of your Aadhaar card. Check if your mobile number is mentioned in the Aadhaar card. If it is not mentioned or it is incorrect, proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Fill Out the Update Request Form

Download the Aadhaar update request form from the official UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) website or visit the nearest Aadhaar enrollment center to get a form. Fill out the form correctly, ensuring that your old and new mobile numbers are accurate.

Step 3: Verify Your Details

Ensure that all the details provided in the form are correct, including your name, address, and date of birth. Once you have filled out the form, self-attest it using your signature.

Step 4: Submit the Form to the Enrollment Center

Visit the nearest Aadhaar enrollment center and submit the filled-out form, along with your original Aadhaar card and other required documents (if required). Make sure to carry your mobile phone for verification purposes.

Step 5: Verify Your New Mobile Number

The Aadhaar enrollment officer will verify your new mobile number by sending an OTP (One-Time Password) to your new mobile number. You need to enter the OTP to complete the verification process.

Step 6: Receive Your Updated Aadhaar Card

After updating your Aadhaar mobile number, you will receive an SMS confirming the update. You can collect your updated Aadhaar card from the enrollment center or receive it by post at your registered address.
